After granting a few interviews, Swami came down for the evening Satsang. As is the tradition with Kodai, a cultural programme is offered every evening at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet. The Veena Vahini team had arrived from Mumbai to present a bouquet of songs. Veena Vahini is beloved Bhagawan’s gift to humanity. Born on Guru Purnima 2016, it continues to spread the message of Love through Music with its thematic presentations, beautifully bringing out several facets of Music. In the year that just went by, Veena Vahini presented its unique, divinely designed thematic concerts in Mumbai, Shirdi, Kolkata and Karwar.
Every music aspirant passes through six stages of life Araadhanam(Praying), Saadhanam (Practicing), Bhaavam (Purification), Dhyanam (Personification), Gyaanam (Preaching), and Saakshatkaaram (Propagation). Six songs, one on each of these stages were offered. It was a sheer delight listening to the songs, and Swami was very pleased with their offering. “Tera Tujhko Saunpathe” – “Offering Yours back to You”, was the theme of their gratitude to their Lord for His continued handholding in their musical journey.
Thereafter, Brother Sumeet Tappoo addressed all gathered. Swami commanded him to speak about the Seva activities in Fiji, and also about the upcoming Ashram. He also narrated a small incident where Swami had taught him how practise makes one perfect. Swami then showed everyone the architect’s rendering of the upcoming Ashram, which is being built by the ocean. He revealed that a Medical Centre will be inaugurated in the first phase, and thereafter it will grow into a General Speciality Hospital, and eventually it will become a Cardiac Speciality Hospital, within the next five years. Swami said that all this is possible because of God’s grace and man’s effort. “The partnership of man and God results in all the activities of the world. In God’s dictionary there is nothing called impossible. But man’s effort with great faith and surrender is very important.”
He called upon Brother Sumeet’s father Sri Mahendra Tappoo to talk to everyone about the upcoming Hospital as well, for which the Government of Fiji, in recognition of all the good work happening, have collaborated with the Sai Prema Foundation, for this wonderful project. Swami was very pleased with all the effort that is being put forth, and said, “Only the one who is ready to loose oneself, can attain God. The one who has ego can never attain God.”
Mangala Arati was offered, and Bhagawan once again dined with His dear devotees before retiring for the night.
