Swami recently told a devotee, “I am the only Avatar who has gone town to town, street to street, door to door to awaken the slumbering humanity. And I still do so without even a body, something that no Avatar has ever done before!” Truly, those who are able to fathom this unique phenomenon of the subtle form of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai, are joyful witnesses to these travels. And so, on the morning of March 20 while the students and staff were taken on a city tour of Vientiane, Swami decided to bless the homes and offices of a few devotees. After breakfast, He first proceeded to the homes of Brothers Kamal and Rajesh Jeswani. After blessing their homes, Swami blessed the Mandir they had specially built within the compound of their palatial residential premises. Thereafter, upon the prayer of the brothers, He visited their office, which was about 10 minutes away, and blessed them. There was a little plaque on the office wall which read – ‘Hope, Love, Faith’, and Swami was quick to impart a lesson to all who were there. He said, “Patience with oneself is HOPE; Patience with others is LOVE, and Patience with God is FAITH!”
Thereafter, Swami proceeded to visit the office of the Kolay brothers Avijit and Debojit, which was under construction. After giving them precious advise, Swami visited the residence of Brother Jitendra Singh and family. Yet again, an intimate affair with them which they received as an opportunity of a life time, Swami blessed all profusely. Mangala Arati was offered to Swami, and He then departed back to His Abode in Vientiane.
In the evening, close to 150 people had gathered to revel in the electrifying divine presence. Swami first called all His students and staff to His room and spoke to everyone. After blessing the devotees gathered, He commanded Sri B N Narasimha Murthy to address everyone, who reminded everyone of the opportunity and blessing to be in the Divine presence of Sai, which is not given to everybody! He said
the simple plan that the Jagatguru, the great Master has shown to everybody is to love others selflessly, due to which immediate happiness can be obtained.
Swami in His divine discourse revealed that all great beings are born as per their own divine will, who teach the truth of life by being examples. “True happiness exists within a person, and not outside. He should be contended with what God has given. This happiness and contentment can only come when you know who you truly are, and your true nature. All fears, worries and anxieties will disappear when you realise that you are a spark of the divine!” Mangala Arati was offered to Swami and dinner Prasadam was served to all.
The next morning, March 21, Arati was offered to Swami in the morning as it was time to depart to the final destination of the Far East Trip – Bangkok. Devotees from Hong Kong, Australia and Laos travelled with Swami and His entourage to Thailand, known for its ancient ruins and ornate temples. Swami’s ‘first’ visit to this country, and three families came to the forefront to host the Lord and His entourage. Swami was received with the traditional Poorna Kumbham upon His arrival at the residence of Brother Kumar Krishnan and his wife Smt Gayathri. Other hosts, Brother Murali and his family, along with Sister Ria Banerjee and her family, joyfully and reverentially welcomed Swami. There was excitement in the air for they couldn’t believe the day had finally arrived for them to embrace their dear Lord into their homes and yearning hearts. Snacks and refreshments were served to all, as it was already close to 5 p.m. Swami then sent all His students and staff for a cultural tour, as He retired for the night.
