Bhagawan expressed His Sankalpa (wish) to extend the coverage of the Annapoorna Breakfast Programme to 50,000 needy children studying in various government schools across the greater Tirupati region. He said that there are many children who come to school on an empty stomach and it is His wish and will, to commence this Breakfast Programme in this Divine place of Tirupati. Bhagawan then proceeded to His bungalow for a brief stop, and then started downhill towards Tirupati to attend the Soma Yaga being conducted by the priest, Sri Somayajulu Garu. There, a short function had been organised where Bhagawan was felicitated with honour, by Sri Somayajulu Garu and his team. This was followed by an exposition on the Soma Yaga and its benefits for the well-being of the universe. After the sacred Yaga had been completed, Bhagawan and His entourage partook lunch.
